Semana 24/week 24

Hola,

Hi there,

590 km in 21 hours of pedalling, in 5 days. Last week has been the week with more training volume in terms of time and km since I started the training program in October. The long rides corresponded to the weekend: 177 km in 6 hours and 12 minutes (although we were almost 7 hours with the bike, lots of stops!), and 187 km in 6h and 25' yesterday. The sensations were good, during the week, and, importantly, today. That means that I'm recovering well from the effort. That will be one of the important factors in France, the recovery from one day to another; crucial, I would say. You can see some photos from the rides on Friday (you'll see Sierra Nevada at the background of the first photos), Saturday and Sunday.
Apart from that, this weekend was the first time I rode my new frame. I changed from my Pinarello FP3 size 46,5 (51,5 top tube) to a Pinarello FP4 size 50 (52,5 top tube). I have to say that when I bought my Pinarello FP3 both in the bike shop (Ciclos Paco in Montilla) and in Pinarello Italy they recommended me the size 50. However, I followed the advice from Pinarello Spain, so I bought the smallest size. The visit to the lab in SOLEI were we had the bike fitting, and the pain on my back (almost since I bought my FP3) were crucial to change to this new size. After riding it this weekend I have to say that it was a good decision. So, my new Pinarello FP4, with Chorus 11v and Neutron Ultra wheels (unless a wheel supplier wants to sponsor us) will be my bike for the Tour.

I have more news to unveil regarding our potentials partners and sponsors, but I will do it once I'm 100% sure about their support.

more news to come...
